On behalf of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we express our profound condolences upon the passing of Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, The Emir of the State of Kuwait, on December 16, 2023.
He was a distinguished leader revered for his dedication to his nation and commitment to serving people and promoting understanding and dialogue. His wise and compassionate leadership will be a lasting legacy.
Together with the global community we extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family and all the people of Kuwait mourning this profound loss. Our hearts and prayers are with everyone affected. May God's peace bring comfort during these trying times.
