Church Leaders Extend Condolences and Prayers to Those Impacted by Flooding in Libya

In response to the recent flooding in Libya, the Middle East/Africa North Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issued the following statement:

“On behalf of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we express our heartfelt condolences to those affected by the flooding in the northeast of Libya.

Our hearts are filled with sorrow. We offer prayers to those who are suffering as a result of this natural disaster and pray so comfort and healing can come to broken hearts.

The Church is exploring the ways to support the affected communities through collaborative efforts with local and international relief partners.”
