Elder Arnulfo Valenzuela

Elder Arnulfo Valenzuela was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 2013. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Fourth Quorum of the Seventy in the Mexico Area. He is currently serving as a member of the Mexico Area Presidency, where he has served since 2011.

Elder Valenzuela received a bachelor’s degree in administration from the Universidad de Estudios Contables y Administrativos in Mexico City. In 1992 he received a master in business administration degree from Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE). In 1981 he began working as manager of commercial accounts for Honeywell Mexico. In 2004 he was made regional director for Durman Co. and later national marketing director.

Elder Valenzuela has served in numerous Church callings, including full-time missionary in Veracruz, Mexico, as well as bishop, counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in a mission presidency, and Area Seventy.

Arnulfo Valenzuela Realivasquez was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, in May 1959. He married Silvia Pilar Porras in April 1982. They are the parents of three children.
