Elder Enrique R. Falabella

Elder Enrique R. Falabella was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on March 31, 2007. While he was an Area Seventy, he served as President of the Central America Area. He has also served as an Assistant Executive Director of the Correlation and the Priesthood and Family Departments. He is currently serving as a counselor in the South America Northwest Area Presidency.

Elder Falabella was educated in Guatemala, earning a degree in agronomy from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala in 1975. He worked for Bayer for a number of years, and at the time of his call to full-time Church service, he was country manager of Bayer in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Belize.

Prior to his call as a General Authority, Elder Falabella served in numerous Church callings, including full-time missionary in Central America from 1970 to 1972, stake mission president, bishop, and stake president. He served 10 years as a regional representative in Guatemala and Costa Rica, two years as an Area Authority, and eight years as an Area Seventy.

Enrique Rienzi Falabella Arellano was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, on May 9, 1950. He
married Blanca Lidia Sanchez in June 1975. They are the parents of five children.
