Elder Singer received a bachelor of science degree in international finance from Brigham Young University and a master of business administration degree in general management from Harvard Business School. He currently works as a professor for the American University of Sharjah. He previously worked as CEO of Dubai International Financial Centre and CEO of NASDAQ Dubai.
Elder Singer has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Sweden Stockholm Mission, bishop, counselor in a bishopric, ward Young Men president, high councilor, institute teacher, and stake president.
Jeffrey Heide Singer was born in Rexburg, Idaho, on July 12, 1964. He married Sandra Elizabeth Mackay in 1991. They are the parents of seven children. Elder and Sister Singer reside in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
