Latter-day Saints Wish Muslim Friends Ramadan Mubarak

Faithful share respect for fasting and charitable giving

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wishes Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim friends all over the world. In a new video, Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, expressed the respect that Latter-day Saints have for the devotion of the followers of Islam.

Muslims and Latter-day Saints have many common beliefs, including fasting and the importance of charitable giving. These commonalities are highlighted in a recently published pamphlet titled, Muslims and Latter-day Saints: Beliefs, Values, and Lifestyles.
