    Elder Roland J. Bäck

    Elder Roland J. Bäck was named an Area Seventy and a member of the Seventh Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2022 general conference.

      Elder Bäck has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Greece Athens Mission, bishop, high councilor, and stake president.

      Elder Bäck studied energy at FH Joanneum and received a Master of Science degree in 2015. In 2016 he went on to earn an MBA in business from the Vienna University of Business & Economy.

      Roland Josef Bäck was born in Graz, Austria, on November 4, 1976. He married Tereza Nemec in 2000. They are the parents of five children. Elder and Sister Bäck reside in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
